SVG Files On Etsy – I Just Opened My Own Shop

Svg Files On Etsy

My Etsy Shop Logo

I work on this project for a few weeks now and I finally did it. I have my own shop with SVG files on Etsy.

It is a great method to earn some extra money, especially if you are passionate about design or just if creating those files makes you have a good time, as it happens to me.

Of course, it is a new shop. Today I just set-up my listings, my profile, the shop aspect and many other little, but important things.

I’m writing this short post because I want to send people there, maybe to have a look and give an honest feedback. It would really help me a lot!

I’m not insisting with that, because I don’t want this post to sound like a spam. I just want to share this with you, and also, I know there are lots of people who want to create a shop on Etsy, but maybe they don’t know where to start.

How To Start Selling On Etsy

Svg MandalaWell, the best place to learn everything about how to sell on Etsy is YouTube, of course, but I especially recommend having a look on Alisha Conn’s channel.

She is doing an amazing job on explaining the whole process of selling digital files on Etsy and she also recommends some cool, free and easy to use programs.

She teaches you how to create many types of designs and formats, from SVG files to digital wedding items and more. I really love to follow her videos and I’m sure you will feel the same, once you start following her.

As I go forward with the shop, to see how it works, to continue to learn and to create new designs, I will definitely accumulate some more info and I will be able to share them with you.

But first, I need to test, so I can create a real and quality guide, based on my personal experience.

So stay tuned and thank you in advance for your feedback!

Also, I forgot to mention… you can leave a feedback on Etsy only after you buy a product, so I don’t ask you to buy anything if you don’t need to, but you can leave a comment below with your opinion and also with any other questions that you may have.

Thank you so much again! Blessings!

PS: This is only an overview. I will find the time to write a real and complete guide about selling on Etsy, so stay close!

  1. Wow, congrats on getting your shop set up on Etsy, that is amazing! I have heard so many people saying that Etsy is a great way to make money online but the feeling I have always gotten is that it is for creative and arty people. I can be creative about the ways I make money but I blog and create content. I am not good at being arty!

I would love to create digital products to give away on my website but I have always found my skills to be seriously limited. I would love to know how to easily create free printables to give away on my website. I will check out Alisha Conn’s channel – thanks for the tip!

    • Hey there!

Thank you so much! Actually you don’t need any special skills. You don’t necessarily have to create art, but you can make simple texts or numbers, using different fonts, because there are people who use them in many ways on their businesses and they don’t have the time to do this by themself, so they prefer to go to Etsy and look for them.

The most important thing when you decide to open an Etsy shop is to spend some time setting up your account, which means to add an about me post, a privacy policy, a nice and catchy cover photo (that represents your shop, your activity and what you will offer to people), a shop logo and, of course, your listings, which will have to be at least ten.

I know it seems difficult. I believed the same, but it’s more easy than it seems to be.

I will write a complete guide with what I know now and then I will come with news. I will find the time this week to do so. Until then, you can start watching Alisha Conn’s videos. You will see how easily she makes her designs.

Thank you so much for your comment and for your interest! And stay tuned! Blessings!

  2. Though this is my first time of coming across “Etsy”. As you have suggested that the best place to learn how to start selling on Etsy is youtube, i will make it a point of duty to make sure i watch it and also learn it, because your short and explicit review on it is really inspiring. Thanks so much for this concise post. Cheers!

    • Hello there!

To be honest I didn’t have the time to write a real and accurate post, but I will do it pretty soon, seen that the interest is so big and I really want to help people.

So stay tuned! A complete guide will be done for you. Thank you for your comment!

  3. OK you gave an introductory on how to selling on etsy and how you opened your own shop and made two references for us to check out. But I think you should have atleast gave a brief explanation or description on how to go about it. The pro and con just to give atleast an insight of how this shop works and what it entails.

    • Hey there!

I know, this is only an overview. I will find the time to write a compete guide so stay close!

      Thank you for your comment!

  4. Please the SVG file is it just for Etsy? Nice features and design, I love your site, please can you share more videos other than going to YouTube. At least people can learn from your creativity, you really did a very nice job and i bet it took a lot of hard work.

    • Hello there!

Thank you so much! On Etsy you will find the widest range of SVGs, so why would you go to look for them elsewhere? Also, it is an instant download, so there are no headaches with the shipping.

I will write a complete guide. This was only an overview, because I didn’t have the time to do it the way I wanted to. So stay tuned!

Thank you so much for your comment! Blessings!
